SendMeAFriend.COM respects each individual’s right to personal privacy.  We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement.  This statement applies solely to information collected at SendMeAFriend.COM's Web site.

Part I.  Information Collection

SendMeAFriend.COM collects information through our Web site at several points.  We collect the following information about primary visitors: Name, Address, Phone #s, Email Addresses. We may also collect Name, Address, Phone #s, and Email addresses, which our users divulge about other people, [such as referrals or gift purchases.] SendMeAFriend.COM does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information. We verify the accuracy of this information by mail, email, and phone contact. We collect this information through registration and referral forms.  The information is collected voluntarily.   To receive our products and services, Name, Address, Phone #s, Email Addresses is mandatory because our process requires a verifiable way of contacting our referrers of a referral sale, and have our dealer clients send the referrers their referral fee.  Other information we request is optional.  

Part II.  Information Usage.

The information collected by SendMeAFriend.COM will be used for contacting referrals in order to meet their sales needs in the reported interested vehicle, and to contact the dealers' referrers in order to notify them of a sold referral, and occasionally let our referrers know of a specific dealers deal alerts.  Users who provide information will receive email announcements or advertisements as well. In Canada, the referrer will have the responsibility of contacting the referral and asking them to opt in to receive emails or other communications from the dealer. The referral may register by providing implicit documented prior consent to receive electronic communications from dealer. Registered users may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter.
The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history.  We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources [such as credit history to authorize purchases]. We will not share data with third parties. We offer  links to other Web sites [Such as dealership websites, and/or thier affiliates].  Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies.  Their standards may differ from ours. If our policy on information collection or use changes, will advise you by either email, or a prominently displayed message on you login home page.

Part III.  Access to Information

SendMeAFriend.COM users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find.  They may edit their profiles to submit the correct changes. Users may delete their information from our database by following the opt-out process.
